AFCEA and SPARGO, Inc. (Event Management) encourages you to be aware of organizations who claim to have access to the WEST 2019 Attendee List, as they may try to sell this list to you. Please note neither AFCEA or SPARGO distributes an attendee list or any attendee information and DOES NOT offer list rental services. Like many trade shows today, WEST 2019 is targeted by unethical businesses that scrape email addresses from websites to contact exhibitors about list rentals, hotels and other sales offers. AFCEA and SPARGO take data security, your privacy and privacy of the attendees very seriously.
HOUSING ALERT – HOTEL ROOM SCAMS
Please be aware companies other than the WEST 2019 official housing provider (SPARGO, Inc.) may contact you and indicate that they are affiliated with AFCEA and WEST 2019 and claim to offer hotels at ‘reduced’ rates. These companies are not affiliated in any way with AFCEA and it is highly recommended that you do not use their services. At past events, exhibitors and attendees have used these companies and lost deposits or did not receive the hotel rooms they reserved. SPARGO, Inc. is the ONLY authorized hotel reservations contact.
