  • In 2021, Janes initiated a transformation from a traditional publisher to a modern data provider, aiming to create an interconnected open-source intelligence (OSINT) platform known as the Single Intelligence Environment. This platform integrates foundational and current intelligence into a cohesive, object-centric data asset deployable across various systems. The development involved implementing an RDF graph, building a core data platform, enhancing technical capabilities through agile methodologies, and launching a dynamic new portal. As of November 2024, the platform is fully operational, utilized daily by over 250 analysts, and was awarded Data Project of the Year at the BCS UK IT Industry Awards.
