Overview
Now in its twentieth year, the Department of the Navy’s SBIR/STTR Transition Program (STP) assists participating small businesses by identifying commercialization opportunities, creation of marketing collateral, and promoting the company and their technology across Acquisition and Science & Technology (S&T) communities within the Department of Defense, U.S. Government, and defense industry. The ultimate goal is promoting and accelerating commercialization opportunities (Phase III funding) for these small businesses by direct transition (sales) to industry, military programs of record, or commercial ventures.
FST – The Forum for SBIR/STTR Transition – promotes companies participating in STP based on their award of a Navy or Marine Corps sponsored SBIR/STTR Phase II contract. Navy FST connects these small businesses with government and industry personnel through Tech Talks and One-on-One meetings, and an enhanced online presence. Information on topics participating in the current and previous year STP is available on the Virtual Transition Marketplace (VTM) – a part of Navy FST and STP.
We invite you to meet all the companies participating in this year’s SBIR/STTR Transition Program (STP) and explore their technologies in the Virtual Transition Marketplace.
Now in its twenty-third year, the Navy's SBIR Transition Program (STP) assists small businesses by identifying commercialization opportunities and promoting their technologies across the Acquisition communities within the DoD, U.S. Government, and industry. Innovative Technology Showcase events promote STP companies through networking, Presentations, and One-on-One meetings.
