Women's Appreciation Event 2018
Celebrating Women in AFCEA

Join us at our Fifth Anniversary Women's Appreciation Event where we will celebrate all things Women in AFCEA. We will honor past award winners, speakers and sponsors - in particular those sponsors that have unwaveringly supported Women in AFCEA since the program's inception in 2013. Our keynote speaker will be Rear Admiral Danelle Barrett, Navy Cyber Security Division Director, who was one of our first Women's Appreciation Event Award Winners in 2014. The event will conclude with the presentation of the women's appreciation awards. All are welcome. Come to network; listen to an awesome speaker; see our women award winners be presented with their awards; and enjoy a drink to celebrate Women in AFCEA with us!

Appointments are largely full!
There are still a few appointments with the Carrier and Air Integration Program office (PMW 750) and with the Multifunctional Information Distribution System (MIDS) Program Office (PMA/PMW 101). All others are full.
To participate, please conatact Angela King, and provide:
- The names of up to two people from your company who will attend the meeting.
- A brief explanation of what you have to offer the program office
- A description of your company in 200 or fewer words
- A link to your company’s website.
Requests will be honored on a first-come, first-served basis; however, all requests are subject to review and acceptance by program-office personnel to ensure appropriate technology matches.
You will be notified of confirmed appointments by COB Thursday, February 1st.
Vendors with confirmed appointments may check in at the Navy's Information Warfare Pavilion theater starting 9:15 on February 7th. Please let Angela King know soonest if you cannot attend your scheduled appointment so that we may accommodate our waitlist.

AFCEA Buck Bragunier Memorial Golf Tournament
The AFCEA San Diego and Camp Pendleton Chapters, in conjunction with WEST 2018, are sponsoring the annual Buck Bragunier Memorial Golf Tournament at the premier Eastlake Golf Club on Monday, February 5th in Chula Vista. Funds raised through this event will benefit the Chapters' STEM Scholarship Funds. More information and online registration available here.

The AFCEA San Diego Chapter, in conjunction with WEST 2018, is hosting a reception to welcome WEST attendees to San Diego on Sunday, February 4th from 3:00 - 7:00 p.m. The reception will be held at the Stone Brewing Tap Room in Downtown San Diego (adjacent to PETCO Park).
